Re: Fault codes and idling problem
Hi, do you have the list of fault codes? Is it possible to read the codes from ECU without having a diagnostic machine? Yeah, I found out that at least on mine (results could vary) I can actually read the errors without having to go to the diagnostics plug next to the wheel under the bonnet. Just p...

Re: Who's on the road (or could be), who is Not?
Hi! Finally logged in after being away for a while. Lot's of stuff changed in my life, currently living in Switzerland (from Portugal), but the 16valve was always roadworthy, even if it's not looking as great as it could, 3 or 4 rust spots and totally failed clear coat mostly on top (project for nex...

Re: Silicone water hoses for the BX valver
Does anyone have this problem? One of the hoses is touching the intake manifold (check the picture to see). I don't know if I need to secure the hose differently or if this is caused because my radiator isn't original (had a radiator made of copper with copper side boxes when the original started le...

Re: Silicone water hoses for the BX valver
Hi, so Stewart replied me (a while ago, I just didn't had time to post this before), that the kit is now made of 11 hoses, so 2 of the 90 degree hoses where replaced by the one in the middle of the picture I posted before. I've already changed most of them, but I still need to get the 2 metal tubes ...

Re: Silicone water hoses for the BX valver
I've taken a picture from my 3 hoses that should be E, F, G and J from the picture in page 11 . All other hoses are correct in my kit. So in my picture I have from my smaller hoses, I believe the top hose is the J (11), the lower the E or F, and the middle one I don't know what it is, and then I bel...

Re: Silicone water hoses for the BX valver
I've received my kit today, but I have a question. I have 11 hoses and not 12 as is referenced on the site. With the complications with one of the hoses, is now 11 hoses the correct number? I can't check it correctly on my car because I don't have the metal tube (labeled 8, on the citroen diagram) t...

Hi, still have my 16valve, was my daily driver for 8 years and I've put 100k km in it since I bought it (has 230k now). It has seen less km's in the last months since I bought a CX Athena with LPG for a daily driver (crazy I know), and has (the 16v) some stuff to sort out, paint, and the HP pump nee...

Sorry to hijack the topic, but is that valve your talking the one inside the car, that you can see if you take a little panel? I've checked that in my and it appears it's leaking gas. I went to the citroen service site and there was no rubber seals to use there, only the complete part. Do you know h...
