Harmonic balancer desperately needed.....
the one on the car we had our little disaster with was shot, and has been repaired badly at some stage-it works, but is deteriorating rapidly. It would be good to get hold of a good 2nd hand one if possible-anyone got one, or know the whereabouts of one?

Bit of a weekend disaster-harmonic balancer needed...
well folks, here is how to really f**k up your sunday..... Had to change out my starter, and went with the whole inlet manni out direction, which proved relatively quick-popped in some paper to block holes, new gasket, nice new starter, all good. Chuck her back together, and after finding a bolt i mis...

Definitely go for a newer starter if you gonna replace-as far as getting it out, its a inlet manifold out job-go to aussiefrogs, and there is the full instructions on a sticky thread there.PAys to check and refurbish all the wiring too while you down that way-be silly to have to take it off again!!!!

Sounds like exactly the same problem i am having with my starter motor on my new P2- sometimes it works, other times you gotta wiggle a couple of wires comin off alternator to get it starting. Sorting it out this weekend-there is a fantastic sticky on aussiefrogs from Alan S(r.i.p) all about the star...

well its paint is farked-i was hoping as much as all of you(timmo) that it was just a substrate issue, but no. Some monkey has had a hoon on most panels-i know Venetian Red,and none of it is that colour any more! A bit of cutting will sort a bit of it, but it needs fibreglass repairs on the bumpers ...

And for gods sake watch for undercuts!!!sounds dum but its amazing...

Now mine!!!
Bought her this afternoon-its a 2.5hr hike to pick her up, but owner is driving 2.5hrs so we meet in the middle. Got her for $2K, and she will promptly head to the paint shop for a full respray. Gonna keep her factory fresh, and go nuts on my other toy.
