So basically there will be some P2 cars with gti 16 v on V5 .Typical of DVLA although i'm not too sure whether new supplying dealer is responsible for info as in reality DVLA i assume have no control over car titles

Afaik gti badged was dropped with the facelift. G reg onwards
GTI badge contuined on 8v - so not too sure about insurance theory

Yep, Hurricanes had the whaletail and side pods. Although this one being french would be the french version of the Hurricane, which was the Oraine or some such.... I thought (that in UK at least) only 16v had that spoiler and Hurricane got Gti spoiler. I therefore cannot recall ever seeing a Hurric...
