I can't find the website that I got my info from, but a quick bit of research found that it is the N9TE engine, here's a BX4TC under bonnet shot.

IIRC and my memory is not best... It's a derivative of the Pug 505.

I had a snapped front pipe replaced a long way from home and the only one available was a Walker, this oddly had NO siamesed section on the front pipe at all. I hate to argue here but, as Gary C said, we ran Bertie the BX for 4 seasons on standard Citroen pads and discs on most of the circuits in this country. We didn't have glazing or overheating problems at all.

I ran standard size Black Diamond grooved discs with EBC Green Stuff for 18 months. They lasted 9k miles and I was quite hard on them. The stopping power was tremendous, if a little rough under extreme braking, I mean 100+ hard stopping. The pressures inside the BX caliper are tremndous, 40 tons I ...

I loved them on Chris's car and pandered him to sell them to me. On my red 16v, I saw them in either a tarty gold centre with a polished rim, or a moody anthrecite centre with a dark gold rim.

I'll dig them out and photograph them. See if there's any interest here before I Ebay them.

They wont be the zx16v ones, i still have those, im guessing it will either be the standard grey ones OR if i remember right, a set of 5 spoke curvy euro style ones, i remember seeing a pic of his car before he fitted the zx16v ones with those on.

I have a BX16v driver's seat if anyone wants it. It's very good condition, obtained from Gary C as a replacement for mine, but never got fitted. It's the common grey and black diagonal striped type.
