no spark
If there is no spark at the coil then I wuld also suspect the ign amp.
I do seem to remember a topic that mentioned trouble with the ign amp as part numbers were a bit confusing so if you can try and get a replacement that matches your current one part numbers wise.

hoses
I am definitely interested in a hose set and jubilee clips to suit, once prices are roughly sorted I can make a final decision as I do have two valvers to think about.

hoses
I did spot an ebay ad for BX braided brake hoses a couple of days ago. I totally agree with Vanny, I have uses braided hoses before on ordinary braking systems and basically the braiding protects the rubber hose and helps to eliminate flexing or bulging of the rubber hose when the fluid is hot and y...

I almost forgot! Simrans car was running standard spheres that had been regassed with a lower pressure but Chris was not happy so decided to see what we could sort out, when Simran took on the car it was running the regassed to 35bar xm fronts on the BX rear and the old BX rears moved to the front s...

spheres
Hi My cars spec is here - http://www.bx16valve.co.uk/9.html And I seriously doubt you will find a better combination of spheres for road and track use combined. The guys who I worked with getting things right have been racing Citroens since the Ds days so know their stuff. You can check out their we...

cones
I would agree with Kitch here, a decent cone filter is handy on the valver due to the location letting lots of cool air get around it and they definitely do seem to allow the engine to be free at higher revs. But it won't turn your car into a rocket ship but not a bad bolt on mod. I do quite like th...

Just a thought but were the demonstrators registered down south before going to the dealers ?
If the car was owned by the main man at Shaws maybe it came through head office as part of his pay package or maybe he got the demonstrator at a good price?

yet again
I welcome anyone to come and drive my valver to see what they think of the suspension. Fact of the matter is if you lower the car using the height lever it will not handle as well as it should. My car is lowered via the roll bar clamps to make the car lower to aid handling, and after lots of testing...
