I'm certain some enterprising lawyer could have the producer up for burning othewise recyclable materials. The rest is disposable talentless crap. French rap is probably the worst detritus to have sprung up fom the misnomer of worthy material from the other side of the pond. If the eye surgery of th...

Nothing majorly fast (well nothing with four wheels anyway), but I did have a lovely - well rusty - Mk1 Scirocco Storm with the K jectronic system, 1600cc block and close ratio five speed box. Great launch potential but ran out of steam near motorway speeds. Everything else deemed rapid or 'performa...

Thanks to all of you, exactly as described, though this model had torx bolts throughout. But the rails of the BX are only 41cms apart meaning the seats cannot be fitted into the ZX, not without a complete bespoke subframe assembly. But on the positive side, I found a fiver in the bottom of the coin ...

This 'trade in' is not a green policy, nor about kickstarting the economy. It is the people with a vested interest in the car industry (no MP's of course) holding the country to ransom. Next there will be a roll-out on 'attractive' looking loans to the unsuspecting public, to buy a vehicle they don'...

Thanks

I must have been thinking about the VW Scirocco(s) I had years ago. One bolt was all it took to remove them.

Oh well, will try again tomorrow, not looking forward to it owing to the water and dead snails in the footwells.

Front Seat removal

Any idea ?

The seats move forward and back on the rails, and I was expecting some locking nut on one of the end stops, but there is nothing.

I cant see anything on the lock handle either

Am I missing something really obvious?

Yes, that's the one.

Very nice looking - 9 hour to go.

I would bid myself, but (the wife suggests  ) I have too many vehicles.

Two valvers, and a third with the Diesel turbo conversion

Still all here, still awaiting the payout from the neighbour that let her brats loose with their car.
Just about to go for the Freedom of Information Act letter, to find out why plod didn't bother prosecuting her for negligence.

Hello again

Well after a two year break from driving a Citroen, driving a van for the main work and a few motorbikes for the evening stuff (dont worry the BXs are still in the garden), I have chosen another for the pleasurable job of educating the wife to the highways of this country. Not an easy task, she cann...
