Re: Tracking down dad's old BX
Hi Richard, There is a BX register run by Kitch (Rich). I don't know if he will be able to provide any more info but it's worth a try. If you have more details yourself, it could help. There is a link on this site. http://www.bx16v.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=22418&hilit=Register#p22418 Also furt...

Well I thought I might look in before lunch today.
Due to other interests and commitments mine has been resting up but in good health.
Should anyone else visit, Happy Christmas .

Re: The BX Project
I cannot write what I thought after reading that update, so I will just say what an awful experience. One thing after another, some a little self inflicted which you realise, some of it just draining and I know how you must have felt when you had had enough. Made worse by having to meet the deadline...

Re: The BX Project
, and doing the near-side steering rack gaitor is a battle of willpower. I think it's one of those jobs that can take ages or just go right, if you can replicate the exact way you did it last time which worked, that would be good. I will have a read of the above but have just spent the day doing a ...

The interlude didn't go unnoticed Vanny, I wondered what was happening. I just read through it all and then lower down, saw your car covered in snow.

It looks that way Vanny. I think someone did it before me and removed their post so I get the "credit" for it .

Re: Chinese Aluminium Radiator
When I was researching them, the one person I found who had fitted one mentioned they had a leak immediately so it's a risk in terms of wasted time and potential return issues. There may be other examples that worked but with limited numbers, there's not much to go on. An original is best if you can...

Re: Bertie
Just watched the qualifying, No. 93 got a bit of air time and a mention just after the red flag. Shame there were further issues that brought the restart to a swift end. Some nice cars out there, the Capri and Sunbeam looked good.
Maybe catch the racing later.

Re: The BX Project
Just had a read Vanny. I had wondered how it was going, your updates had been a more regular to date. Anyway, looks like you found a bit of time and made some good progress that allows to carry on with it when able. That saw clearly came in handy. Good to see the engine is getting rebuilt as well. :)

Re: Rear wheel arch covers
Hi Gary, Just so you know someone is seeing your posts, I thought I would respond to this. Right now I am fine but I think they are the type of part that anyone could need at some point because of general depreciation or damage. They would be a nice to have but there are so many bits that would fit ...

Following this on the project, it gets more and more interesting the deeper you delve into that engine.

Thanks Vanny,
Saw them a while back, from the old BX Project I think.
Still logging in checking for new posts, saw some today, all yours.
