your type face is correct, but I meant more like, I think it would look more cohesive if the V was italiced to match the 16 like?

Mines happy to run falt out without the oil or water going anywhere near the red.
Standard rad, but it does have an 82° stat and diesel rad switch, along with a new rad.
Bear in mind though that the guages in BX's are not always that accurate.

I'm a tad bladdered, and can't be arsed to read back through all this, but, I thought you had no spark?
In which case cam timing is irrelevant, since the CAS tells the ECU where the engine is cycle.
Even if it had skipped all the teeth in the world you'd still get a spark.

no clips, they do indeed pop off.
If they aint too slack you may need to use a 14mm open ended spanner to lever them off..
