Interesting stuff.
Is it possible to make the fuel cut off on over-run more gradual?

A few years ago I picked up a genuine cap, arm and backing plate for just £16 on ebay, couldn't believe my luck.

I've thought in the past if there would be some way of making some sort of adapter so that a cheaper, more readily available cap and arm could be used.

It's odd that PSA decided to bin the AFM and cap+arm for the later 1.9 8 valve engine yet didn't do the same for the XU9J4 engine.

Thanks for your replies.
They've been on the car 5 years so they're about due for replacement right?

Thanks Vanny.

I also found these searching on the net: http://www.performanceleads.co.uk/Image ... asp?id=174
Wonder if they're any good.

Where to get 16v HT leads?

The HT leads available from Euro Car Parts and GSF, what are they like?
Is there anywhere else to get them?
Main dealer would obviously be about £3446, assuming they still have them available.

Thanks
Kris

Same here, and I must get hold of it to ensure there's no 405 Mi16 bashing going on.

How come you've got 3 boxes then? 405 Mi16 only has 2.

Hehe dunno about yours but my mums must have been owned by a couple of old geezers who just drove everywhere at 20mph because the suspension feels nice and tight. Wish my bloody 405 suspension felt like that. Mind you all me bushes need doing.

That's Corsa "B" isn't it? I think Corsa A is what we call Nova. My mum's got the 1.4 Hi torq Automatic, slow as a wet week but it's fine for what she needs.

Well yes that's a good idea though putting on another AFM seems to have cured the stalling problem. All that's left is the misfiring feeling coming on and off throttle and the awful warm start.

What the sensor itself is £13? I thought it was more than that? Or maybe it's cheaper at Citroen?
Opened ecu, water had gotten in at some point but it was dry as a bone when I looked at it. Crazy having it in the wheel arch on the 405.

This is probably a silly question as i think it has been covered before on here, but what did you use to do the fault code check and how much are they/where can i buy one? Sounds like it would be very useful to me right now. 2 bits of wire! See here: http://forum.405mi16.com/index.php?showtopic=969...
