these cars run very hot. freaked me out a bit when i 1st got mine, so for piece of mind i did the old 2-fans-plus-lower-fan-cut-in-switch mod.

as soon as you stop moving the fans will come on because its so darn hot under the bonnet. dont worry about it :)

C6

saw my FIRST C6 the other day. cycling through the merry streets of hackney. i darn near fell off my bike! i thought to myself 'that's a funny looking C4 coming my way... hang on a minute, this baby's big...' if i hadn't been in a rush to get somewhere, i may well have about turned and followed the ...

is the engine-battery negative connection good?

spheres gone flat do not make the car sink, this is down to the BX sindrom, the rear suspention returns through the brake dozer valve,so when the said valve gets a bit old the internal seals cant hold the suspention presure,,and it returns to the tank via the dozer valve Seems to be something of an u...

i can back up point 11 though - i live on the lower clapton road, arguably one of the dodgiest areas of hackney which in turn is one of the dodgiest ares in the UK! park the BX in a side street and (touch wood) it's never had any unwanted attention. you're always seeing abandoned BMWs, Fords, Vauxha...

you can take ages and spend a large amount of money replacing what you consider to be faulty components, but unless you properly diagnose each individual component it's pointless - i know it's frustrating, but it seems that you're ending up going down this track! i had nightmare problems with my idl...
