You can use one from ZX or Xantia, they have a longer wire and yellow socket attached much better than the BX one which tends to burn/harden due to the proximity to the exhaust

remove all the brackets and it will come out with some persuasion,
no need to remove manifold.

Timmo, surprisingly you never had a ride in one before, its very comfy, speed humps are had for breakfast by the DS's suspension.

The pipe here cost a bomb, I have them remade using industrial hyd. hoses and they work well enough only a bit of swishing sound when turning. Also use live connectors so that the pipe becomes into two sections and easier to refit.

Maybe a dodgy connection or even the alternator, run it daily from now and see if anything goes bust.

Carry a spare if you have too, its easy to replace so don't worry,
All the cars can interchange eg, Xantia, ZX , they all fit ,petrol models that is (8V XU)

Ya, for you chaps the parts are cheap so no problem in that area, but here its expensive plus what I do is I buy a complete xantia rear axle mainly for the spheres, These used parts are imported from Japan where cars are like new are scrapped very low mileage, so I hv quite a few rear arms in stock.

It is no problem fitting xantia arms, I hv done it on my valver, saves on brake pads, arm brgs and even wheel brgs as I hv a few sets available..
Only a bit different where the bump stops rest otherwise identical.

If you need to do a U-turn anywhere you better make sure there are no cars comin for a mile coz you will definitely need to do a 3 point turn.
