Gents, The car is at work in London so will post photos when I'm back there next week. Mike-The from wings were transferred over, all the skirts and rear arch spats were removed and secured using rivets and sikkaflex, same as the original. The subframes were not transferred as both were in good cond...

Thanks folks. I knew of the rust when I bought it but in fairness it became more apparent when interior trim was removed to 'personalise' it. I had an ex-car welder at work who was more than willing to repair the rust but when we started to dig a bit deeper structural members under the tail hatch fl...

Triton Green Valver for Sale
Please note that I will be reluctantly putting up for sale the above car in the next two or three weeks. The reason for this is that I've acquired an Alfa and I've no space to store the Citroen. It's not my preferred option but I've no other choice. I'll get some photographs over the next few days b...

With regards to simply fitting a cylinder head to an 8V block I believe Timmo is correct as there are differences between the two engines. I've converted two BXs to the 16V variant, one GTi and one 16TRS. Provided the engine and gearbox come complete with mounts (although gearbox ones are the same) ...

Hello there, Cannot see from the photographs clearly but the lug (ear) looks too high. This should, as you know, sit alongside the tensioner slide and using the special bolt be pulled up to the correct height. I'm wondering if the tensioner has been incorrectly positioned. Paste this link into your ...

With regard to hose 6 I had no trouble fitting this to the engine so I cannot see why this was the case. A little WD40 worked wonders.... With regard to hose 10 this does seem to be causing questions. When the kit was made up was it with three elbows as per the photograph or did it come with two sim...

I fitted mine while the engine was out a couple of weeks ago. As fas as I can see (and others please correct me if I'm wrong), hose 10 can only be one of the three 90 degree elbows but this will not fit. Hose J as Frog states is similar to the one that connects to the heater but this was used to rep...

Bumper Brackets
During the renovation of my valver the metal brackets that secure the plastic clips to the bumper were found to be heavily corroded and detached from the bumper. I have had to get a batch made up professionally and have a few left over. If anyone wants one or two (I have six in total) you are welcom...

Folks, Been in touch with Stewart at Baker BM today who has stated he will be making up the number 10 hose and if anyone wants this exchanged with the elbow then return this to him where he will exchange it (if elbow has not been damaged). no exact timescale for these yet but will probably be a few ...
