Guess I'm lucky then! I've had a few things happen to both cars but always got them home without breakdown recovery! The clutch cable has broken twice on the diesel (once about 7 miles from home and once in London) drove the car home. I blew the second diesel engine up, it still got me home on two c...

It's very straight forward and is essentially as dictated above. However, no matter how careful you are marking where the old one was, it's always worth getting the car tracked after. A few beer tokens for a track is alot cheaper than a new tyre every 3 months......

The part number is 95 496 828 and is described as a "FLEXIBLE HYDRAULIQUE", very helpful! Anyone that knows anything about BX's will know what you are talking about immediatley though since it is the only high pressure rubber pipe on the car. Mine cost £67, but that was trade... I very muc...

Sounds to me like it's the only high pressure rubber pipe on the car that runs between the FDV and Pressure reg, it does a loop up towards the N/S inner wing and clips to the wing with a large white plastic clip. If it is this pipe then they are available new for about £90. I had to replace one on t...

Seller of the 405: "DO NOT WASTE MY TIME, IF YOU WAS SELLING THIS CAR I WOULD NOT WASTE YOURS" Quality grammer! Sounds like a typical 205 t$£t to me.... If it was more reasonably priced I'd buy it, rip the guts out of it, take lots of photo's of it being destroyed and post them to a pug si...

Not a bad idea Luke. It's a shame it's come to this, but I agree, anything petrol seems frowned upon by the "great and good"! Of course I can sit on my lofty perch since I have a valver and a TD (and it's way better than a TZD, despite its current inability to hold coolant in!! ). T...
