i would of thought an engineers/mechanics certification stating that the car is identical to a 16v as far as the shell goes, with comparison pics? they are so similar mechanically its not funny, engine,rollbar, and spheres aside. if it was me, our vehicle testing guys wouldnt even notice-you should be replacing factory with factory, so who would notice? Grind off the 16v logo, and try it. How could they know? i think thats the hp pump belt tensioner. Likely it can be reburbished-it may just need a solid soak and clean. Otherwise its apart that will quite likely be straight swapped with a 2l xantia model-dont quote me tho. Get it off, pull it to bits, clean the hell out, replace what you can.If that dont ...
