Well don't crush it :?

Even if it's rotten through the spares are worth having.

Two 16valvers sadly breaking

Hi all, Not been on here much, but just as a heads up I'm in the process of breaking a faded red G-plate 16v and G-SEG for spares. Not everything will be available, but a good portion will be. Full threads on BXC for more info, but drop me a line if you need anything. I don't intend to throw anythin...

I've got a pair of well-used indicators for sure, and possible a pair of headlamps too if they're any good to you.

Torx (can't remember the size....T40?) on mk2 BXs, big fat phillips-head on mk1 BXs. You need quite a long slim reach to get to it too.

And some new clips....you'll need those.

Downpipe would be available mate, yes. I think I've got a spare one of those already somewhere already. Not sure on the quality though....it looks a bit small to me. I'll double check. I'm in Fareham (look for the Isle of Wight on a map, the look north on the other side of the solent.....that's me :...

Copied from BXC: I'm starting to put plans together on stripping the car down at the moment. I'll probably start listing items that I've decided to sell (wheels are one) in the for sale section for a while before hitting fleabay with them. If anyone needs something in particular feel free to PM me.....

I'll probably advertise the ECU with the engine as a package along with the loom etc (although the 205 guys aren't as fussed as they once were), but if it doesn't sell I'll give you first refusal. :)

Yeah I was intending to make sure it's not wasted. Any sections that aren't rotten I'll un-stitch and keep for future use.

I will likely break it for bits. If I do I'll be hanging on to a fair few bits to stockpile for the red 16v, but there will be a fair few bits I won't keep too. It's a shame, but I think it probably has had its day. It's just even more of a shame it's never been taken care of on the bits that matter...

Another well-known valver about to bite the dust

So as many of you will know, I bought the grey ph2 16v (nicknamed G-SEG!) from Matt H last summer. This one (widely known as Tim's old 16v): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/kitch/DSCF3905_zps7eb02c01.jpg I didn't pay much as Matt had been completely upfront from the off that the car had some ...
