Thanks for the comments mates! It was quite a shock when the old valver went down in flames but eventually we got another one back together, and that's MUCH better than getting two valvers to the scrappy. However, the rear camshaft has got quite a tick from the fire, I guess it heated up a lot since...

Hey Darja! In the netherlands there is a company specialised in turbo works for the XU9 (amongst others) they really do know how to tickle your car. this is their site: http://www.dp-engineering.nl/ And what can you expect from their works? Well, at the moment there is a Peugeot 205 MI16 driving in ...

Thanks, it is a good upgrade indeed! but $1600,- is rediculous. They're not cheap at all but that's about twice what I payed for it. About the calipers, are the V6 models very different to the rest of the models or do the TCT versions maybe have the same calipers? that would definitely make the sear...

If you are willing to find out what the costs would be to send a set from the Netherlands to New Zealand maybe we can work something out. I've got a complete set of calipers front and rear including good pads laying around. I've wanted to install them on my valver but I'm just too damn lazy  An...

Well, we've picked up the new victim :D This one has a horrible tick in the engine, sounds a lot as a worn out big-end bearing. But the engine of the burnt 16V should still be good so somewhere this summer there should be a happy valver driving again in Holland :D Also it has been a silent wish of m...

Well, we've found a new valver, a black model again, fitted with a leather interior and a horrible tic in the engine. Not too expensive though and the body is far better than the one that got burnt. Next week we'll pick it up (hopefully she'll hold herself for the 150KM trip home) and then somewhere...

Yup it's a bloody shame :( All the more since all the work we've put in it not so long ago. But anyway. Coming sunday we will bring her to a garage where she can stay for a couple of months and somewhere in july we'll get the engine out. Then we'll see what has to be replaced, but I Reccon it'll be ...

Actually this valver belongs to a good friend of mine. It's really terrible what happened, but f**k it, we're going to fix it! I can't let it die... not in this lifetime. Luckily I've got a good friend with a lot of 405MI16 parts we can use to fix her up. But for my own valver I'm going to take some...
