Cheers Timmo, have seen poorboys in shops here!
I will try it next time I need to but polish etc, and as for winter protection, I dont need it  My Capri does not leave the garage in winter months.
Only driven it once in the last 3 months and that was only because we moved house.

Aha, ok thanks.
I know its only a matter of a few quid but I had not even opened the bottle yet !
I must say I have found Meguires to be very good, I even use the car shampoo  Always used it on my black ph2 and the 2.8i back in the UK and was happy with the results.

Car polish

I went out to give the car a bit of a polish and found my Megs polish in one frozen lump in the bottle
Looks like I need to keep it in the house rather than the garage, anyway will it be any good to use now it has been frozen? Or should I chuck it out and buy new?

So are all of the cars sorned? if they are you must have the sorn sheet from the post office or DVLA right? in which case I am sure you will be able to get the fines over turned, if you have not actually sorned them then there will be nothing you can do, except pay the fines! I had problems with my ...

I used to connect my pair of subs to a 2ch amp using the bridged +/- terminals, as I remember doing it like this brings it all down to 1 ohm thus getting more power from the amp!

Hi Fury, Right, I bought the car locally off a guy who bought it from the mechanic who did all my work on my last 16v. The chap was selling it as he had just bought another car and needed rid/gone of her, the only person that was interested was a guy that wanted her for the engine. So I bought it in...

Hi and welcome to the forum. Just looked at your pictures in the garage and thought the registration looked familier  I owned it for a short time a few years back. As I remember it was a pretty quick example! I know the 2 previous owners before me and it had alot of work done on it by them. Hop...

Comman fualt the stiff heater knob (Yes I know what I said) If you have opened the flap and still no heat its probably worth looking to see if it has a matrix! may have been removed and by-passed if it was leaking at some point. If it is still in place it may need flushing out. I dont know anymore, ...

Depends on the quality of the parts I guess, I only used to use the intermotor cap and arm and mine used to eat those in 4-5k.

On the plug front as far as I can remember I used to have to change mine every 6-7k.

It would probably be a close race in a straight line, similar book times to 60 MPH. As for the curves, I don't know, it is far from standard and the handling has been sorted :P .

Anyways they are complely different cars, hardly comparable really

Regardless of the brake issues, that could well be a bargain, low miles and it being a ph1, I'd snap it up no question.
For the starting price though it may well go to a 205 owner, if I was in the country I'd be talking to the owner to get a buy it now price!
