Wouldn't worry about getting things mixed up. Happened to me last week with two sensor connectors....

The diagram refers to the two-row Motronic 4.1 ECU. I've got the three row ECU pre-cat version.

I believe you are correct. I've spoken to Stewart at Baker BM who says a couple of buyers have queried this. He's been sent a sample of the hose you query (item 10 on the BX-PL pdf parts list) and hopefully this will be made up within four weeks. I was going to contact Stewart next week so if he or ...

Thanks for the reply but I finally sorted this (after a fair chunk of today wasted).... Fault was an own goal, when wiring the engine bay I crossed the throttle position switch and TDC sensor connectors. As the ECU couldn't see when to fire the ignition it didn't. Had to bell out all the engine mana...

Motronic M1.3 Wiring Diagram

Folks, If anyone can help I'd be eternally grateful. I'm busy rebuilding the new acquisition and have replaced the engine and harnesses. I've probably left out something obvious as the engine motors but will not fire. I've not yet got round to checking the obvious such as lack of spark or fuel suppl...

Mike, The biggest issue was what the DVLA classified the car as. In the end I could only classify the car as a modified Hurricane. WIth this hindsight it would have been easier to keep the car without the effort of fitting a bodykit and surprising a few individuals...... Insurance wise Adrian Flux c...

I cannot find anyone who will ship for less than £300. If you have someone who does ship and you want them on that consignment the fine. Pity you are a little way away!!

Folks, Pictures if anyones interested. The wheel on the ground is the worst of the lot. The other picture is typical of the two that tyres (under a grubby car). These are no real dents on these, just paint starting to lift. There are fifteen bolts with these as well..... http://i920.photobucket.com/...

Thanks Jezzie, wasn't at the computer yesterday for long....

These are the wheels that I bought a while ago. As the man says they will fit straight on a BX. I tried them but prefer the speedlines, hence the posting. Cheerrs.

16" OZ Wheels

Four used grey OZ F1 wheels. Brought a while back with a view to using on 16V BX but have decided to stick with original Speedlines. Two have tyres on good condition with around 5mm tread, other two had tyres in very poor condition so will be wheels only. Fitted with correct spacers for Citroen BX. ...

OK folks, I've taken your advice and raised insurance with Adrian Flux. As hinted it wasn't too painfulin the end and cost about £20 more than I was paying already. It even allows modified wheels to be fitted (thanks Jezzie....). It may not have been registered as a 16V but as far as I am concerned ...

Late reply. Sorry, been installing Windows 7. Adrian's and Vanny's comments seem to reflect what I've experienced so far in that one person has given the 'should' reply and, as Vanny has said, conversion should be possible. I did this fifteen years ago and had no problem getting the car listed as a ...

Thanks for the replies. Annoyingly when I rang the DVLA a year or so ago they stated this conversion was possible. The donor 16V was declared as scrapped on this presumption. How would I go about getting an insurance broker to class this 'modified' car as a near-as-dammit valver? I have a letter fro...

Tried different people, tried to convince them that this was successful a few years ago but why different now? Both the local garages here and Citroen stealers are happy with what's been done (even been offered a job as an auto electrician!). Confuses them no end however when they see a sandblasted ...
