Thanks for the reply but I finally sorted this (after a fair chunk of today wasted).... Fault was an own goal, when wiring the engine bay I crossed the throttle position switch and TDC sensor connectors. As the ECU couldn't see when to fire the ignition it didn't. Mike, The biggest issue was what the DVLA classified the car as. In the end I could only classify the car as a modified Hurricane. Folks, Pictures if anyones interested. The wheel on the ground is the worst of the lot. The other picture is typical of the two that tyres (under a grubby car). These are the wheels that I bought a while ago. As the man says they will fit straight on a BX. I tried them but prefer the speedlines, hence the posting. Cheerrs.
