I know how you feel. Mine is sat 200 miles away waiting for me to either give up on it or soldier on for one final hurrah.
The trouble is, I know if I say goodbye to it I'll never be as happy driving any other car again...

As above... Citroen have told me they are no longer available from them.
One option is 'spoox components' but at £55 for the pair it's somewhat steep...
So if anyone in particular has a spare oil temp sender unit wot screws into the sump, let me know

Primarily the rear box and the bendy pipe that feeds into the cross box, but if anyone's got a full stainless system available that could be useful too...

I had a dodgy earth from the module and it caused the same symptoms, though mine was more sporadic because occasionally it was fine - but wasn't fun when it decided to cut out at 90 in the fast lane! I spliced into the earth wire of the module and ran a wire direct to the battery - no problems since...
