is the black one an early TVR of some description? (ps im crap at this game!) No not a TVR, might slighty complicate the issue as I think the pic is American spec, hence bigger bumpers. Ollie - amazingly the first one is not a Jensen Healey, but the second one is! Last one, nope not a Datsun,...

The first one is indeed a Fiat Marea Weekend Second car is a Daewoo/Chevrolet Nubira - the Tacuma is even more hideous - you wouldn't think that was possible would you, but.... http://www.carpages.co.uk/chevrolet/chevrolet_images/daewoo_tacuma_cdx_11_01_04.jpg  The last car, I'll agree it bea...

Hi Timmo, yes I reckon your right - well once the wooden cladding is fitted anyway. I have seen those boot covers, but can I really be bothered.....?? £30 or so by the looks of it, might just stick a plastic dustsheet in there if I am worried tbh. Would be nice to come down to Cornwall with the bike...

Thanks all - good link Timmo (yes I think it is a traveller, shall I get some fake wood to stick on the rear of the bodywork?), hadn't seen that - the other place came back to me with a qoute of about £130, so this place beats them hands down! I don't know the complexities of fitting it, will have t...

Thanks for the ideas on keys - thing is the remote turns the alarm off and un-immobilises the car, so if I lost the only key with fob I would be properly knackered. I could leave the top fob part in the car I suppose, not like anyone is likely to nick it is it  Aircon is a bit of a bummer, but ...

That's good news Tony, I am planning to cover about 10k from September up until Christmas, then should reduce a lot - I hope! As I will be able to claim back at 40p a mile, I reckon the car will be paid for by about then as well :D I've just had it serviced, but I know it needs a couple of tyres, ha...

Hi Tony, is this the PA (Primeras anonymous) club coming out! Glad that's another vote of confidence anyway :D What engine/spec is yours, and what do you use it for? Mine is a lowly 1.8 S, a few toys, enough to keep me happy, and decent economy for 500-800 miles a week, with fuel being £4.50 a gallo...

Thanks Timmo, but boy is it ugly! It has non working aircon, but has a CD player which makes up for it. Primary reason for the purchase is that I will soon be commuting 500 miles a week, for a limited amount of time, and there was no way I was putting those miles on the BX. £2450, full Nissan SH, an...
