Is the spyder chassis different to what your Elan came with, or is it identical?

That's a massive shame you haven't been able to get it up and running, it is a truly beautiful old school british sportscar.

Very very impressive Chris, like the subtle understated sleeper look, is it badged as a sleeper?

250BHP aren't they, or is it more that that now?

Great news your keeping the BX as well 8)

I moved onto Revs a good few years ago, but very rarely buy any car mag thes...

Hi there,

If you've owned it for 15 years, and it has a cat, then you must have owned it from brand new?

Is it a K plate?

Some pics would be good 8)

I did the stats when I was looking to buy a car for commuting, and even on a second hand purchase, I calculated that adding on the additional extra cost, the additional cost of fuel, offset against the extra economy, to make it worthwhile, I would have needed to cover 20,000 miles in that first year...

They spent the 1st few hours taking the pish untill they realised I was able to hang to the back of a Q4 (155 with delta integrale running gear - 200bhp+ and 4WD) I find that rather amusing  The 155 has some similarities with the BX, namely lots of sharp edges with the styling. Dan

Holy cow that has gone downhill

From translating the webpage, it would appear that the car was perhaps put up for sale in 1999, but lack of interest means it was parked up, and left for 8 years.....
What a waste.
