Been ages since i took any off, think the last ones were off the Triton ones Mike P bought (god that was a while ago)... Anyway, same method you're using, just with a suitable drift/punch. IIRC the bottom ones were always quite easy but care is need on the top ones so as you dont miss the punch &...

Crashed BX's
Having seen this on the web recently i'm intrigued to know how well our cars hold up in real accidents  Anyone else got any BX wrecks to share? (hopefully NOT from personal experience) http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r233/jemcammaz/crashbx-1.jpg Anti-burst catches held up well in tha...

ZX loom
I've seen Luke & others mention the ZX loom as a way to lose the AFM giving more scope for mods.
How easy a transplant is this & Exactly what ZX should it come from?
Thanks, Jay.

I hear what your saying, but as a CV joints position is infinitely variable (such is their purpose) i can't fathom how it's static angle makes a difference on the car? The inner joints are spring loaded to account for the inward-outward movement and vanny you are right that they are most compressed ...

Driveshafts & Geometry...
Good evening Class, here begins your Geometry Lesson for today... I've seen it mentioned several times in the past and want someone to explain it to me: 'When lowering the car never go past the point at which the driveshafts are at a right-angle to the strut (i.e driveshafts should NOT point upwards...

Hiya, I've had issues with this for ages but it Depends on how hard you're trying to push it really, all cars have limits! Few things to consider, As far as i'm aware (don't think it's just mine) all BX's oversteer, especially badly in the wet. Understeer is much less common. Make sure you rear arm ...

The thing i learned when trying to work out differing insurance quotes is: DON'T bother trying :!: Though, some really good advise is to go to Confused.com and get a quote there, it really does make a difference. I pay £300 FC for the white one and an additional £80 TPFT for the grey one (but i can'...
