My car was running with the resistor in for a year, it simple switched the ABS off at 7mph (or whatever it is) as it wasn't getting the expected resistence. If i unplug the AFM with the engine running it dies! Is that not normal?RobC wrote:

The easiest way for me was using the old Resistor trick: Get a 1k resistor, attach a couple of inches of wire to each end. Unplug each sensor in turn (fronts by inner arches at back, rears under rear seat) and bridge the connector with the resistor (the inboard cable not the sensor end). While you'r...
