I've just been reminded why i love my BX's so much: Went out for a little drive to get half hour peace from the missus in the White one, drove around quite normally for 10 minutes heading out of town and then pulled onto a little B road... and thats where it all the fun started... You know the kind ...

My White one is also the longest owned car for me, near on 3 years (i never found anything else i liked- except all the 8v GTi's).

It's stablemate has resided with us for less than 6 months.

My car was running with the resistor in for a year, it simple switched the ABS off at 7mph (or whatever it is) as it wasn't getting the expected resistence. According to Bosch files, if the lamp is lit the ABS is inoperable and the brakes return to normal use. The lamp does NOT tell you there is a f...

The easiest way for me was using the old Resistor trick: Get a 1k resistor, attach a couple of inches of wire to each end.
