Hi Mike, no it's not the clonking thing, I may be picking up some cheap new non 16v calipers so I'll need to change the yokes to accomodate the 16v's thicker discs.

That doesn't sound good Rossco, can only be the pinnion valve or the rubber coupling thats allowing that sort of lower column movment
