hi guys, anyone know if front strut return pipes are still available anywhere? or does anyone have one. was looking at the ole project car to chwck most is still in order and it appears one of mine is simply missing.

hey man, if its just 2 pieces of pipe u need to join then a plastic push on pipe connector and cable ties would do the job. the return lines aren't high pressure. tbh what you have already done sounds just as good if not better.

ah ok, thats not too far from london. we will be driving down to london from edinburgh anyway as its more fun than sitting in the airport for 3 hrs to then be on a plane for 1. ive always wanted to visit the south west as ive been down the south east so many times. :D anyway wait and see what hapens...

robin, there is a rather rare '89 phase 2 on ebay right now thats sitting at £585. there is a link in the for sale section that takes you to it on ebay. why not buy that one and put all the goodies you have on it? it is red though, but if you dont need to spend a fortune making it mechanically sound...

hey robin, glad to hear your keeping it! tbh i dont think rust will spread if the car is kept in a dry place. but it would do no harm to get the work started and remove rusted sections. just make sure when you cut lumps out that you clean it and get it rust proofed v soon after cutting so rust doesn...
