I'd refurb them myself Adrian, so although it would take a lot of effort it wouldn't cost too much! And if I used them for the 205 they'll still need refurbing anyway. Of course I could just be lazy and sell them on :) My first project is to restore the bumpers on the 16v though, so I'll see how tha...

And judging from the second pic, I'd say your rear-arm bearings need doing  :) Good points from everyone really. I agree that they don't look as good as speedlines, but I do still like them. Haven't got any pics with the centre caps unfortunately - but they have a big Peugeot symbol on them an...

Yeah they're the one's Timmo.

I was thinking they'll be good to practice on. Guess I can give them a go and see what they come out like. If I don't want them at the end of it they can just go back on the bay! And if I ruin them I've only lost a fiver ;)

Opinions on alloys

I'm not really sure why, but a couple of weeks ago I bought a cheap set of 205 alloys off ebay. My thinking behind it was that they'll fit either the BX or my girlfriends 205 if I decide I liked them. So I stood one next to the BX this afternoon to give me a rough idea of how they looked, and here i...

Idle air valve

Does anyone have a spare idle air valve they'd like to sell?

Mine squeaks and I cant get rid of it - it still works but it's bloody annoying!!

I'm using HIC at the moment who do a decent classic policy. The BX isn't with them but they've given me good quotes for it in the past. Even with a lack of NCD, and with a couple accidents declared their quote was still competitive. They're good with mods too. https://www.hertsinsurance.com/?rw.cm=g...

None 16v: glow plug relay wanted

Well none-Citroen in fact as well, but I'm after a glow plug relay box for my girlfriends 205 1.8D. It's the little box of tricks that, on the 205 at least, is attached the o/s/f inner wing. I'm hoping that all PSA models from the same era will have a compatible box, so thought someone on here may h...

God bless rusty Novas!! After I drove my girlfriend's TD home from Santa Pod at the weekend the steering had become a bit 'wobbly'. I assumed it was worn suspension bushes. Then went to drive it the next day and a started making a clonking so looked underneath to find this: http://www.carlgibbs.com/...
