It's for a BX TD, with the top-mounted intercooler. The smaller vent wouldn't actually do anything though.

Yeah, had a look round the factory... Actually really good to see that there's stuff still going on there. Was only there on Saturday so I missed the Sprinting, but I really want a TVR now

That really does look nice. I think the wheels do look a little small, but all 14" wheels do on a Phase 2. I remember mine had a set similar to those when my Dad first bought it all those years ago. swapped them for the standard Speedlines in the end, but 15 inch suit the Phase 2 best in my opi...

Glad it's not just me :o This is all good stuff though, when I get some time, i'll start checking voltage and resistance readings, not to mention fuel pump relays etc. I did notice that the earth from the ignition module had already been spliced dire...

That's just stupid... Not many websites are worth that, let alone domain names.

It's a case of cybersquatting, but there is no real worth in the bx16v.com brand, especially when this site already owns the other three. So they'll be holding onto that for a while to come I should think

matt, if its still not going have you tried a jump lead from the battery negative to the block/cog box to check if its an earthing issue??? I tried this and also replaced both earth straps, and cleaned every electrical connection I could find. The answer is in there somewhere, and I now have the ca...

I'm a tad bladdered, and can't be arsed to read back through all this, but, I thought you had no spark? In which case cam timing is irrelevant, since the CAS tells the ECU where the engine is cycle. Even if it had skipped all the teeth in the world you'd still get a spark. That's all I needed to kn...

Hi everyone,

Just had a quite horrible thought about this...

Is it possible that my timing might be out, due to the cam belt slipping? If so is there any easy way of telling?

Cheers,
Matt
