Re: BX brake pad question
EBC is a UK company, and Carbone Lorraine is French! I am keen to trial fit a set of these to some BX calipers, as they are far more easily obtainable here in NZ - however I don't know what impact the missing backing plate nubs will have. I imagine it may have an impact on the operation of the handb...

Hugh. Can you get hold of a 21mm rear one? It will help keep the car flatter but depending on stiffness of shell you may get a bit of rear wheel cocking. I have a pretty good roll cage in the car (although it isn't turreted yet), so it is pretty stiff. I have a Ph2 road car as well, and if it wasn'...

Had another good weekend of racing at the invitation of the NZ Alfa Romeo Owners Club. 50th anniversary of the 105 series meant there were many GTVs out there (mainly much faster than me and Whitey), but there were a fair few Suds, 33s, Alfettas and Sprints for me to play with. http://i986.photobuck...

Wow - that's some very controlled body roll! And the shot with the broken drop link makes it clear how much work the front ARB is doing. http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae349/Humungous/5B173A4F-DF4C-442E-9326-398E31355360_zpswozjwqnt.jpg http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae349/Humungous/ED948892...

Just had a good weekend's racing in Whitey. By good, I mean one where nothing broke off or snapped! I managed to qualify about mid field for the first race, despite having never even been to the track as a spectator, let alone actually driven the circuit. The first race was going well until I though...

Hi. Short sort of overview. Temperature is pita on a road car, once on track it is a nightmare. Clean out the rad, then clean it again, and again. Block off the ports, put some central heating system cleanser in, put cap on, shake the rad until your arms ache, leave it in overnight and then shake i...

It would be far too hard to adapt the Xantia Activa setup to the BX. Better off starting with a Xantia Activa. One of those threads had some peoples set ups. I had Xantia double diaphragm's on mine but swopped back to regassed Valver spheres, which is nice for a daily. I have occasionally day-dream...
