Could you use the cam cover from a 2.0 iron block 16V lump, with the big centre cover to accomodate the unit coils used on later 405 and the ZX 16V/306 S16? Come to think of it, Xsara VTS as well? Doubt there's any difference - would need to check the part number for the cam cover gasket to be sure...

I take my car to pieces so often nothing gets chance to seize!

Interesting stuff mate. I made the mistake of using DIII in dads brand new autobox . As soon as we saw your post on AF We dumped i and put DII in. Having changed the oil a couple of times since the box doesn't seem to have suffered for it, I hope!

I've always used GSF dizzy caps without issue. The last one I got was the real thing too!

It's true to say that that pug main dealers are considerably cheaper for some bits but not all. It's worth asking though, you may be pleasantley surprised!
