Should do. I've seen BX's fitted with both the normal 5 spoke (VSX type '93 to'97) and Activa alloys. Also the steel wheels fit, but make sure you get them with an ET of 18mm as the late models have an ET of 8mm and you can't fitthem in the rear arches!

Well I did it with the radiator removed on my 8v GTi but I guess that was convenient because the starter expired at the same time as the rad on that.... There was no way I could get the starter out on that without removing the rad iirc. Never refitted the mounting bracket though - waste of time!

She's due for the 48k service so I was gonna flush the rad anyway as the coolant is a bit of an unknown plus it must be leaking somewhere so worth checking out and I have a new rad lying around if needed. May just go with the inlet method though! Bought a starter from AEP on ebay and they rang today...

Need to change the starter asap co the coolant will be coming out anyway when the rad come out :(

Coolant level

I know it's a really stupid question but what should the cooland level actually be in the header tank?

You'd think something like that would be in the handbook that comes with the car!

Are the nylon bushes going to be a push fit in to the old mounts where the rubber has perished? I may be interested as I was thinking if anyone made these the other day and was about to buy a new pair of mounts from Citroen. How much are we looking at?

Rear air vent covers for Phase 2

Hi

Has anybody got a pair they're willing to part with? Phase 1 to Phase 2 conversion looks silly without them!

Cheers

Yeah that right Timmy! There are plans afoot to have a silver display at next years CCC rally in September. At the moment there are 2 silver cars lined up - my van and Tim's valver! At the same time there is also a plan to gather at least 100 BX's at the event! I'll post something when I know more! J
