LOL - cheers Mike To be honest I'm not sure what we're going to do with it long term. If we've moved house by the time it passes to me I should be OK to keep it garaged at home (next house will have at least a double garage) but may have to resort to a council lock up for the winter months, which I'...

Thoughts on insurance agreed value?
Hi folks My dad's been asked to renew his agreed valuation for the phase 1 valver, which has been in the family since 2004 now  Now from memory when we originally valued it we said £1500 based on the condition, recent expenditure and market for these at the time. I'm pretty sure since then va...

If that falls through ECP stocked Beru. They only stock the cap and not the rotor arm, unfortunately. They list a different brand for the rotor but didn't have any stock. Even with 25% discount code from ECP it was still cheaper getting them from this place in Birmingham - will try and get the deta...

current best bet for dizzy cap and rotor?
Hi folks I recall reading that the genuine parts are no longer available from Citroen? Is there a reputable supplier of good quality aftermarket that anyone can recommend? The one currently on the car is a cheap and nasty special and the centre electrode isn't making good contact with the rotor arm ...

My main concern would be whether it has/needs a cat due to the age of the car? It doesn't need one - would be surprised if it has one, although a check of the engine code to make sure it's a 'full fat' valver would be a good plan. When cat's were introduced they were required on 'new types' from Au...
