As already mentioned, my 16v is doing ok, a hefty £600 bill for the last service/MOT in spring was a little bit of a surprise, but that was a full service, and as also mentioned the bloody starter motor! Still I have never changed it in 10 years, so I guess I shou...

New House!

Chaps, finally, we have exchanged on our new house (This was one we only found 8 weeks ago!) and are completing next Wednesday. All our stuff is coming out of storage over Thurdsday and Friday, then we are taking the Monday and Tuesday off to give us 4 days to get straightened out a bit. Leaky doubl...

A couple of years ago Jon (Now from the BX CLUB forum) gave us a figure of 1230 (16V's) I think it was.
That included Sorn'd cars though.

Maybe someone should give him a prod and see if he can give us a latest figure.

Age old Insurance topic

Guys, the insurance on Big Jo (Nissan) is up at the beginning of August, and on the BX in October or November - I forget. Bell, who I am currently with, have qouted me £320 for big jo, which isn't brilliant, considering where we now live. Allegedly I get a discount for having 2 cars with them. I wen...

Hi Timmo, yep just a shade over 20lbs, I don't have my Marin MTB to hand at the moment, as it's in storage, but with the lack of carbon fibre, and suspension forks, I reckon she must be somewhere around 40-50% heavier, so should feel well different, not to mention the super skinny tyres :D My bro's ...

Yes they are uber light aren't...
