Well the head that is on your car Tim came from me and when Vanny took it he left the exhaust manifold attached to return at a later date so I suspect some of the bolts will be from the exhaust manifold. FYI the head came from Keiths black P2 which AFAIL was reconditioned when it blew a plug out whi...

leather
Yes leather was an option but I suspect it was an option on the whole range and the rear headrests were also an option in leather or velour. Mine came from a GTi but I kept my std door cards as I honestly didn't want so much plain black everywhere - seats door card and carpet and plastic trim would ...

pop!
Apparently popping bubble wrap is supposed to be calming and instinctive because it lends itself to our primevil side back when we groomed each others hair for bugs etc like the monkeys still do.

It is taken that G plate was also the year they started fitting both sides with electric mirrors.
Mine is a G plate and has a manual drivers mirror but some G plate cars have both sides as electric from the factory.

As above just buy a bottle of "amber lens" a small bottle of yellow translucent paint - most motor accesory shops stock it.

manual
Sounds fair enough to me Rob. Might be worth saying that the STOP light means just that but that it also comes on with various other lamps so he doesn't panic. Also warn him about the dash lamps being on all th etime for when he drives at night. Hope he gets bitten and comes back seekinmg a BX 16v :...

pipes
IIRC they are walker but if your downpipe is in fair condition I would use that - just weld up the centre part at the top and weld a 54mm diameter length of tube into it at the point at which the divide ends and run that to the bent short section that connects to the cross box. That is how I made my...

Bob and Rob
No need to panic peeps
Robin is back on Friday and Bob rang me today to say that he and Rob will be joining us as soon as Rob is home and on the pc to sort it all out.
Robin did ring me before he went to Mac to explain he wouldn't be around for a while.
Cheers

exhaust
I think Kitch said ECP still do a proper downpipe wit the centre divide but a good plan is to run a bead of weld along the top of the two plates as the gaes go between them causing the nasty noise and eventually destroying the centre part. Best mod to improve sound and a slight benefit performance w...

engine bays
I could be missing something here but is not the question "will a V6 fit in the BX?" The actual room in the engine bay depends largely on the positioning of the engine and yes the 205 struggles to accomodate the mu lump without mods but that is largely due to the engine position an dthe po...

Would it help if I said its name begins with the letter K? Probably not! I beleive the current trapezoidal Citroen is the C4 although the CX may have had a trapezoidal rear window but can't quite remember I know the C4 has been said to have this rear window and something funny with the rear ...
