There were some cars here fitted with the 6speeder after using it the owners found it troublesome to turn and now reverted back to 5 speed

That reverse gear modded solenoid looks great very ingenious.

The air cond is a common block valve, ask any a/c parts supplier and he can supply one.
The old R12 on the BX has the same one as the MB 123 series.

The FDV is a real pain, gives more problems, I hv seen spheres (main) exploding,
due to faulty FDV's and regulators., leaks ,difficult to change etc...

Mine has AC and 2 fans and still runs high when pushed hard,
the rad is judt too small to be effective. maybe I will fabricate a alum unit..

If you are using the XU9J4 then have to modify a pulley onto the xantia pump and create a new bracket on the gearbox to fit the pump.and modify pipings. If you are using 8V engine, get the pump bracket from ZX or Xantia 1.6/1.8 and it will be direct bolt on but have to convert complete belt system t...

the holes for the FDV are there , but all it takes is some cutting weld a bracket to hold the press. reg.

But do like me ,get a xantia pump and pinion and fit it , u can do without the FDV..
