smash it to bits tim, thats all i did! Big sheet of sticky back plastic on the window then start cutting bits around the spoiler, bolt cutters work very well on fibreglass.

the motronic is obviously NOT OBD compliant, which would be loevely if ti was! With the motronic its possible but VERY expensive to edit the maps in real time, in practise the chip that holds the instructions in the ECU box has to come out, be edited, and put back in which is unsurprisingly a labour...

Your battery ran flat and your stop solenoid closed cutting off fuel to the engine, and thats why it stopped! The XUD will also run for a very long time with no coolant in them as well so long as you disengage the fans (or the battery goes flat! With my XUD when the battery has gone flat during driv...

Hmmm, 1.9td Xantias where 92 bhp with estate initially at 92 but later limited to 86 bhp. Stnadard 1.9 was supposedly rated to 72bhp (though i reckon they put out more like 68 ), i dont remember exactly but i would have expected around 82bhp for an SD, not a big Xantia fan! The ZX loom and 205 looms...

called! We think this is the Priority Valve, which Citroen still stock and sell for £75, but will wait to speak to the garage in the morning to resolve just exactly what a distribution block is! I havent a clue what else it could be (we got the description second hand), there is a an aledged leak be...

although the connectors are physically different they will still perform the same function. On an N-plate you'll likely have some of the later and aditional sensors (such as the totally pointless over boost, and the crash switch off device which can simply be unplugged if memory serves). the 1.7T-in...

putting a 16v lump into an estate makes sence though! I can only imagine problems arising with a turbo'd 1.6, and it must cost an absolute forutne to have it done! I suspect that its a tax thing that goes soley on the engine capacity?

They did but only in the Pugs. Wiring a diesel is REALLY easy, you need a switched feed to the alternator(comes through the battery light as well), stop solenoid and the glow plug relay, and a switched line to the starter. Thats it! Nothing else! Any other wire is simply for sensors (temp light/guag...

Bosch Silverline 6PN is what you want, it's for a Xantia TD lovely and big, and you'll get change from £40 if you get one from Costco, with a 4 year guarantee!

Great website that Adrian, has quite a bit of useful information on there!
