on the orig subject, unless you really have an easy outlet for all the parts and space to store them for the next 6 months andn a trailer to go wei8gh the shell in with, I wouldn't break the clio. either sell it complete as tidy non runner, maybe £300? or just spend the dough and have a nice car to ...

Roundabouts are great and acceleration is pretty awesome, but A to B on real roads anything modern will trounce it simply beacuse they stay attached to the ground! The engine note is fantastic and feels like it'll pull a house down, the grin factor is great just a shame I'd go deaf!! good job its ba...

I didn't say totally flat  Just older and lower in pressure than when they started! what I'm now confused by is what does the springing? I was allways under the impression it was a combination of the gas compressing in conjunction with the shape of the diaphragm. the logic being that if the pre...

This all depends on what youre going to use the car for and where! the racers will have one preference for smooth tracks and others will have different choices for traction on the road! I personally find that having some suspension movement is usefull on real roads  The best handling one I pers...

Very nice might be stretching it bit! but I had thought about leaving the look exactly as is, complete with diesel dribble down the side!! in reality though I only need one spare car and I still need to finish that extension  so It'll stay standard for now and slowly morph as I have the time. i...

Look what I just bought

http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m132/ocj10/IMG_1379.jpg 19RD- looks like it hasn't been cleaned for about 10 years which is coincidentally as long as my friend has owned it! I've been servicing it from time to time so as he is now into end game of cancer he thought of me which was very good of h...

I have one for sale, has good engine, hydraulics etc just cosmetically a bit tired. the reason I can't sell it in Uk is that its been written off in its life so some insurance won't cover it. However that probally wouldn't be a difficulty in moldova as an import! and its cheap £500 being about right...

Wasn't planning on breaking it, just turning it into a 16v to keep. Don't want a sunroof - they leak, and are noisier at speed. BX ABS is crap anyway and I learnt to drive on non ABS BX which have better pedal feel and it all weights something for no gain! oddly enough I like rear windows because yo...

Is it a sunroof one? and does it have rear electric windows and ABS?

If its non sunroof its a definate yes! and no ABS would be bonus!
could be a very quick way to get a CAT B 16v reshelled! and you're quite close to Birmingham in the grand scheme of things!

Its been on a motor trade policy most of the time but has been insured by friends normally at least twice since!! maybe their insurance just never checked! more importantly the CAt B is obviously wrong so how can we have it changed? do the data base people have any procedure? and if so what? At the ...
