standard ride height?

I seem to have a higher than normal bum?? Well, my 16v has
I think the height of the rear of my 16v is higher than standard. Can someone let me know the correct ride height, and where it is measured please.
Thanks
Michael

"Yeah I've never seen a 16 valve on the road here in Australia" , only a couple at a car show. BXs in general are rare here. There very under rated and people have a fear of Hydropneumatic Citroens. There's more love for the more mainstream Peugeots. A common fate for 16 valves is to be b...

Hi there
Have a look at some fof the restorations and mods/rebuilds happening on the "Aussiefrogs" site here in Australia.
We "generally" have a better (less rust) starting point.

Sorry I don't have any spheres I'm willing to butcher, but I'm sure someone will be able to come up with the information. All I could find was this old thread with dead links. http://bx16valve.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=786&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 I think it would also be wor...

sphere damper valving

Hi I am wanting to "re-start" playing with my adjustable spheres again :D I need to know what the OEM damper valving is in the 16v spheres, so I have a base line. I do not have any broken "genuine" 16v spheres to destroy to find out :( . Was wondering if anyone has some that you ...

Go to speed.co.nz and inquire there. It's where I got mine from and it was like $7 or something. Also shipping to aus is only the same as shipping to the South Island I think, so you should be sweet. If you talk to Isaac, tell him cammmy sent you. I don't think the spring will help you with pressur...

Oil pump spring supplier

Hi felow 16v'ers I am trying to upgrade my oil pump to help with loss of pressure when having fun 8) . I will be fitting a baffle in the sump and I have been told that fitting the "6 bar" oil pump spring from the XU10 will help keep the pressure up. See the following link http://www.taylor...

Would the car happen to have the "correct" p2 rear mud flaps? The ones that are a hard plastic material and have the "shaped" section that attaches to the rear bumper? Not the generic rubber ones. If yes I will buy them. Need them to get my car back to original. Cheers Michael[/i...

I'd love to find some of the spheres mentioned in this thread: http://www.bx16valve.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=786 The spheres in this link are mine. I got them from Peter McLeods workshop, left over from his race cars. I added the valve to easily adjust the pressures. Lower the pressure, firmer t...

Red hoses

My hoses arrived today here in Australia - all red and shiny :D
Thanks to all those who have worked hard to make it happen.
Now to get the time to remove the engine for a freshen up, clean the engine bay and fit the new hoses.
Cheers

Finally! Here's a picture of a finished red set. http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/8279/dsc01626w.jpg There has however been a slight mishap with the order. I have a shortage of the two small 90deg. hoses (Top right of picture above). These are being rushed through and I will cover the cost of for...
