Someone over on the Bx forum got some from France if I can recall , I could do with some for the Zx . They are still available from Citroen but at £75 + vat each  . Have you tried any Pug forums ? As I'm sure their the same as the 205/309 Gti . Mark The p1 lights are the same as diesels etc so...

Leboncoin(sp) seems to have a lot of brand new ones popping up, though i suspect you might need to touch up on the French. Cheers Vanny - interesting site that! I had a brief look and it looks a nightmare to search unless you happen to know what area of France includes the most horded BX parts! If ...

Front fog light availability?

Has anyone got recent experience of sourcing a pair of new front fogs from anywhere? The p1 is going in for MOT tomorrow and although it's not part of the test my dad's found that the lights are not working. I'm guessing it could just be a dodgy contact but I know they're past their best anyway in t...

You'd hope so being as the Old owners Dad is a Cirltroen soecialist in the area! ;-) By no means a guarantee based on past experience of buying garage owner owned cars, but I take your point  Forgive me if I've missed it - is this to use daily or store away for dry days and special occasions?

Looks worth every penny mate :D

Get a nice stainless back box/system that mirrors the factory exhaust so it exits straight and lose the stickers off the tailgate and you're good to show by the looks of it!

Mechanically all up together I presume?

You shouldn't struggle to get that valuation. Our p1 is agreed value around £3k from memory. As the saying goes - find another and put a price on it!

If you can't get sensible quotes and agreed values give me a shout and I'll check which classic insurer ours is with. Has to be garaged though....

How do you manage it Robin?! I imagine word of mouth of what you have in the garage probably gets around like minded folk lol

Look forward to pics - that's an extremely low miles P2 if all the MOT history stacks up when you start looking into it :)

6 months doesn't work out too bad, plus if the summer is rubbish can always cash it in a month or 2 early

Well the phase 1 valver is back roaming the Mendip Hills as of the 1st of this month. It's been to Cheddar tip and a run into Weston-super-Mare to date! Not sure when the MOT is due but doubt it's done more than a few hundred miles in the last 12 months. The Avenue Drivers Club meets in the centre o...

Depends on the state of the donor you'd replace it with to be honest. At least if you have a spare you can try fitting it and if it runs like a bag of crap at least you have your original out with a working engine in the car while you strip and rebuild it. They're not cheap engines to rebuild proper...

You after one to supercharge then Jay? My old K plate is still floating about somewhere I think - no idea what the condition is like these days but the last owner I knew of was registered on here :)

That's a bit of a bugger Gary - poor old Bertie!

Presume the sill damage isn't particularly structural given the cage? Just a pain in the arse to resolve and get everything aligned again?

I'm not in the market personally but thought it was an obvious question to ask to help the chances of a sale  If it doesn't sell as is will you put the engine in and get an MOT? I suspect it'll make stronger money in that condition as most people who don't mind a bit of a rolling restoration d...
