I gather they now rent out video cameras for you to record your laps - and banned using your own on 'safety' grounds as a result  I know quite a few people using v-box data logging etc have kit setup to auto switch a hidden camera once they're out on track! Or just get your passenger to clip i...

Think that's been listed a few times? Seem to remember it popping up on my e-mail notifications from ebay a while back.... Quite strong money for it unless the history is impeccable - no way of knowing from the chronic lack of detail in the advert! Given the other items listed by the seller I'd want...

congrats on purchase - I love the fact the car is completely standard on the outside :D Would love to see it run up the sprint against a standard 16V to see how it compares with all the bits that've been done to it. Far as I know, this car has NEVER been shown at a French car show so will be a uniqu...

Well the 'deposit paid' appears to have gone, although the car is now for sale at the somewhat higher price of £2200, along with a known water leak.....make of that what you will http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-BX-1-9-GTi-16-valve-MI-16-205-405-track-day-/270715744910?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3f...

OMG - only just seen this  :(

I haven't seen John in a while, but am absolutely shocked and devastated to hear of his untimely death. He was a real gentleman with a wonderful dry sense of humour.

Gary - my best wishes and condolences to John's family

I gather it's had a deposit paid on it, according to the BX forum. Hopefully by an enthusiast but I guess only time will tell....

That actually looks worth having - I'm even half tempted!! Has air-con as well, looking at the dash :D IF the mapped management has been done properly and it's running throttle bodies, which looks like it is, then the cost of those parts is probably more than the asking price. Bit worried they may h...

It does stick out at an angle - I thought all the Scorpion boxes did?

It seems OK now anyway - I quite like the look of it with the diesel bumper

Hi Timmo I think lack of use does come into play with rear arm bearings - my old '92 car needed them doing when I lived in Sutton about 9 years ago, probably for the 1st time on that car. I would guess every 10 years or so on a car that gets regular use without being abused? When I tried to help my ...

Cheers Mark For some reason my Dad gets a slightly perverse pleasure from managing to fix the car with the minimum available tools! Think it's his age (70!)...... Spoke to him last night and apparently the exhaust is now hanging perfectly - he removed the cross box and rear silencer together and whe...

success - the valver is fit again!

The valver came to spend a couple of weekends with me recently while my Dad was helping me replace our soffits/fascias/gutters We didn't get around to fitting the Scorpion tailbox I acquired recently, but as we were using the valver to get to various shops for stuff I noticed the tell-tail 'crack' f...
