Slow = economical. I should know, mine does about 45 mpg.
Getting about weekdays in one of these saves me enough sheckles for
the petrol at weekends.

I do wonder how the halfshafts wore though with 50 HP charging through them.

I would love to, but this 1.9 diesel estate eBay reject is still going strong.

I might consider it for the wife as its an auto, but the first question she will ask is - what colour is it ?

It could either be fine, or expensive once you push down the go pedal.

Your choice, but I would seriously consider checking you are exactly on the right timing marks before starting (and it would be a shame to junk a top end for an hour of your time)
