You can go Kawasaki if you prefer. Also get's you solid lifters with a larger face too (all the better for high RPM awesomeness) No need to travel that far for valves. Try Competition Valves Australia, Melbourne. A much better product, in addition to having a single collet groove (Kawasaki Z900/1000...

Timmo. Did you unbolt the plate from the back of the starter before trying to get it out? Need to do that, after that's off it's very easy to fit through the gap (again, I have no A/C lines in the way though) I don't know how the relay would help it fire quicker. I'm guessing it's just to disable th...

Timmo. Did you unbolt the rear plate ferom the back of the starter before trying to get it out? Need to do that.

I don't know how the relay would help it fire quicker. I'm guessing it's just to disable the starter while the alarm is on.

Has a relay in there that's part of the alarm. Fires up immediately (and I mean immediately ) when cold. So quick I hope oil is getting a ch...

Delta S4 was twin charged. 'bout 480hp from a 1.7 straight 4 Theory is to have ultimate power with ultimate response. The supercharger provides power instantly which allows you to use a more efficient turbine housing on the turbo (without suffering from massive lag). When the supercharger begins to ...

Re: 205 Drivers forum

Thanks for your help guys, although just machining a "bit" off the pistons isn't a great deal of help to me, seeing as though an XU9J4 MI16 internal combustion engine is a precision engineered Gem :? I can ask the dude for the exact amount if you like? I imagine you would still want to do ...

Wouldn't the valve cutouts be wrong? Or do they lower the crown height enough to not need them?

The guru on the NZ French car forum has said you can look at simply machining down the top of the pistons a little. The top ring is far enough from the crown and the amount coming off so small that's it's safe enough to do so. I haven't tested this theory though so I can't verify it, but it's someth...

Have you very carefully glued mirrors to the side of your car? Would have been quicker. 7.5 hours with cutting compound, clay bar and turtle wax. It was dirty the next day (damn rain) What's wrong with yours Timmo? Do you have a turbo D mike? You should take some inspiration from Mihaistan's ...
