Re: Injector cleaner

I've heard most are pretty useless, the only decent one out there is the Forte products. Cant hurt though I guess.

Just to confuse things I'm Carlos on the IMOC forum :) I had a 2.8 F*** S***** and TBH that wasn't really lightening quick because they're so damn heavy. I'd imagine the BX TD would be as quick if not quicker than a 1.8. Will certainly feel faster. I had a 205TD for a while whilst I was in economy m...

Hi reanimation You wouldn't happen to have a white G reg mk1 MR2 would you? And have also been looking at beemers? :) Spotted your posted on the IMOC website (assuming that is you). I've got a mk1 MR2 (well my girlfriend has) and a BX 16v. Very different cars, but both have their good points. Engine...

Cool, the GSF locks sound pretty good then. Will look into getting one at some point.

And I need to go down the stealership to pick some bits up this week, so can try and order the boot fittings too.

Cheers guys

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty rubbish with a soldering iron which is why I bought a matched reciever/plip :) On the 405 plip I have the key part is removable, so I've taken it out, which has just left me with the plip itself. Didn't realise I would be able to do that when I bought it so pretty hap...

Lock set and boot fixings

Dont suppose anyone has a spare lock set spare that they would like to part with? I'm trying to get the 16v down to one key, so would be after all the locks including the petrol cap. I see GSF do them for £62.50, but does anyone know if that includes the petrol cap? I'm also after the little round b...

Remote central locking

Did the BX's remote central locking have a seperate plip, or a plip and key in one?

Got mine sorted after getting a new receiver and key plip from a 405, which is great, but just wondering what the original set up should be.

Cheers

Thats a great looking car. Never realised they did the V6s over here. I'm almost tempted, but must stay committed to the 16v!!

When staring up for idling 40 seconds fine, and after that un uneven sound from the exhaust when idling. Also hasitating at 2500 rpm, and the engine is shacking at idling. Exactly the same problem on mine. Someone suggested the fuel filter and pressure check to me last night. May have to try that. ...

Re: Tesco 99 RON fuel

Tescos in Winchester has it (just off the M3), although that's more south than south east. Tried a tankful when I was trying to get the car running right but didn't notice any difference and the car is still running bad!! :(
