Stupid question but have you asked Citroen? I reckon a local dealer might well have a few of these lying around collecting dust!
EDIT

Fortunately the garage i take my BX to for MOT knows what goes on underneath the placid exterior, but point blank refuses to do ANY work on them what so ever! Sounds stupid but there is a local (extortionate) specialist and the owners get on well, but it has a HUGE bonus for me as they now know me w...

the total sticker has been remade and has been known to pop up for sale at international events. I'ts not a perfect copy (different print process) but looks right once its in the window! You could of course look into having a small run off them made up for your self and flog the rest to cover costs!...

should be an 80amp but it would have to be the early ZX as the later ones swapped to the fan inside and different bracketry (real early Xantia diesels will have them too (i mean early as in K and some L plates))mechuccio wrote:the alternator of a ZX 1.9D fits as well, but I don't know how many amps it delivers

from what i know there are only two alternator sizes for the BX, 50amp and 80 amp. 80amps are found on the turbo diesels, and i would have assumed that they are on the aircon models but i have not found any indication of aircon BX's having a bigger alternator rating (though every other car since air...

why not just put spacers behind the wheels (both sides), i appreciate this wont take up all of the play (have to be realistic about it) but i cant see the gti6 sticking that far past the chassis leg? Seems that at the moment a good going price for one is around the £100 so spectaculalry out of my bu...

BX16v wiring loom - two row
So, whats the chances of someone having a 2 row ECU wiring loom then? Dont need the ECU, just the loom until i get round to sorting out a 8v zx loom! (though if you have a Motronic 3.1 8v ZX i'll take one of them too). Go on, laugh! (PS postman stole the last two that i tried to get sent, so if you ...

go on then try me, how much for the 6speed? As best i know it hasn't been done yet on a BX! Question is, where goes the 6th gear go? pressumably where reverse is, and reverse is up and left? so then wont i need different linkages? Been looking at this today and it seems like a lovely idea. Only prob...

BE3 Mi16 gearbox wanted
BE3 Mi16 gearbox wanted ideally as cheap as chips (or less), i have a BE1 to swap with as well! erm, did win one on ebay but the seller has magically become no longer listed so don't see much point in trying to chase it. :( Will probably do the old 5th gear to diesel swap so if anyone has a 5th gear...

Why do people worry about down pipes? they're easily fixed and still available new as spurious. In that case let me know your supplier as i'd love one! But in reality stocks only exist for straight through pipes and NOT accurate reproductions which have a split through the middle and are infact mad...
