Further to the electric mirrors debate...

...I now have two electric mirrors. Score! But once I've fitted them, I don't have the blanking plate where the driver's side adjuster handle goes. Does anyone have one of these? Sure a passenger one would do...

Tecw1979 has one but I believe the passenger side might be knackered... I can't remember for sure which side was broken though, so drop him a PM.

I want electric mirrors on BOTH SIDES

(hurls rattle out of pram)

One other thing I was wondering about - the passenger side mirror (ie the electric one) doesn't adjust up and down. Should it? Is mine broken? Might have to add that to the list of parts needed! 8)

I only have one - always wondered why the up and down positions on the rocker switch both operate the mirror! They must be bridged, and if there were two it would operate the driver's one as well...

LOL @ mirrors moving together :D

Interesting! I just had a trawl through the old forum actually - as one should before asking silly questions eh? So now it all makes a bit more sense. Just one question left then, did these later seats have the same adjustable lumbar support as the soft grey/black striped ones that I have?

What are they? 16v seats with the centre section retrimmed...?

I always thought that the interiors with green bits on were originally out of the Hurricane.

8) only kidding mate :D In fact if the leathers weren't a 16v option that gives me an excuse to not bother, and keep this one original. Maybe leathers can wait until I have my firebreathing tuned phase 2. I definitely agree that the leather items aren't as good in terms of comfort and fit ...

Got some smoked lights off Robin the other day, he is alive and well, no need to panic peops. He showed me a rather nice RS Turbo and a depressingly mint 8v while I was there :o

There was a bike engined Imp in Retro Cars a couple of months back, but to be honest although they were calling it an Imp there wasn't much Imp about it, what with it having a glassfibre body and a silly engine in it...

Stupid question possibly Luke, but how do you tell the difference? Is it stamped on the pulleys or similar? (I'm not with my BX this weekend, so I can't just pop out to the car and take a look) :)
