Have been playing with the alliminium tape on the trims, looks alright on the sides but the curved bits from the rear looks awful, so thinking that a crack with some plastikote chrome silver will be better! At least is only a fiver for the tape :wink: Not started with machine polishing yet, just not...

Thats a bummer, but often parts do wear outquicker when not used! I'm with kitch though, could be months waitibg wheb yourlocalplace could make them there and then! Could always do the above and get the original sent anyways incase you want it all on original parts, but drive and enjoy in the mean t...

if you want to fully machine polish one, assuming is washed and ready to go, you;ll be looking 3-4 hours, it'll need a quick clay then tape up any non painted trims (not looked at a C5 for such job so not sure on quantity of non painted bits) and window rubbers, machine polish with coarser compound,...
