Any updates?

Cheers

As previously posted the current price estimate is £260. Appologies for the lack of postings from Phil and myself, work hasn't stopped behind the scenes on this. At the moment we are waiting for word from BakerBM to let us know when he is available to take on the work and take on the patern parts. ...

I have many in stock, the black ones with the chevrons and 3 reflectors which are for the XM but its practically fitted to all my cars. Mate, I am not sure the ones you have are the correct ones that are fitted to the P2 16v rear. These ones are made specifically for this car, as they are shaped to...

Re: Rear mud flaps for p2 16v

Still after the genuine rear mub flap for the P2 16v. Now willing to sacrifice my first born  Seriously, I want to get the 16v back to looking the best, so if you have one of these genuine rear LHS, or both preferably, mud flaps I will buy it. Here is a pic of the good RHS one. Need the LHS. ht...

Here is my one

Had to take a picture of the clean engine bay before it gets dirty again. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y150/michael16v/Citroen%20BX16v%20pics/IMG_0127.jpg Got the 16v out on a nice day. Not driven for a few months, so it was good to remind myself how nice it is to drive on the long and winding r...

silicon hoses

I am interested in a set - if the price is right i.e. under 200 quid - so put me down. I will have to wear the cost of shipping to Australia.
Red would look good :)

Cheers

Thanks guys. I have to agree that this bush (bearing?) is not a replacement part from Citroen. The idea to push it out and get a replacement from a machine shop is the way to go. Over the past few days I have managed to get a second hand box - for free :D - and the bearing in that is fine. So I will...

hello there, by steering box do you mean the housing that the pinion valve is inside? rossco OK, apparently my words are not a good description. So here is a picture. You can see the bearing inside the steering box/tube/outer - whatever the name :? http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y150/michael16v/S...

Vanny The bearing I am after is the one that the rack - the part that moves left/right with "teeth" cut in it - runs through at the left hand exit to the steering box. There is only this 1 bearing in the box - the "tube" part - the right hand end has the steering gear and input f...

BX16v steering box bearing

The bearing at the LHS end of the steering box is worn out. Does anyone know if it is a replaceable item? If so has anyone found out where to get a new bearing? It does not appear in the Citroen parts list and I have had no luck with the Pug list either. Thanks Michael - (Australian member) BX16v BX...
