I changed the ECU, idle control valve and airflow meter from ones from my dads car and it is still losing power now and then. My friend from croydon was back home over the weekend and said he spotted a Black 16v outside his nans, assuming thats in croydon too, was it you? He said it wasnt as clean as mine... whos not washed their car in a while?

The fans DO stay on after the ignition is turned off dont they? thats how i noticed they were always on as after id turned the engine off, and got out i could hear the fan on. Mine already has two fans and im pretty sure they cut in earlier than theyre supposed to so for now i just use the emergency radiator, the interior heater, does a really good job of dropping the temp.
