My guesses are its a TXD or TXS or the older versions of those, TRD or something similar. Looks a bit like my first car, no chin spoiler but has chrome trim, spot lamps and a rear spoiler.

Who fancies posting it on the BX club site?

BX in a music video

This video was banned upon first release apparently, for its violence. I can understand why, as an innocent looking BX gets attacked at 4:32 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfjCyXmMZek A french friend of mine showed this to me last week because it was banned back at home for him and wanted to show me...

is there any chance that 205 rear calipers would fit? They look just like our front brakes and have a cable operated handbrake. Swap the seals over for something suitable with lhm and hook up the cable to the existing lever. Ive got to admit the idea of a little button on the steering wheel or dash ...

^ second what jay said, the support underneath makes the difference, if you just hit it without, it just bounces about.

Its so easy to release the pressure so i would do it anyway to be honest. Quarter to half turn of the bleed screw on the front of the regulator block thing and you should hear it hiss as iit bleeds the oil away back to the tank. Reason being that if you disturb and crack or split the pipe between th...

I do believe it is possible, i had a set of quads years ago which a forum member sold me for about a tenner. They then got destroyed when i lent them to my college to use in a theatre production of grease to place on a prop (they forgot they were mine and threw them in the bin at the end of the prod...

Nigel, your car looks so good cleaned up, a clean set of standard alloys always does wonders for these, the shiny lip makes the car look brand new! I agree with what Kitch mentioned in another post, moving the fans and the rad out the way makes getting at the pipes so much easier. You dont have to r...

Timmo, i may be able to help you out with the valves, I have a full set of good uns that i took out of my dads spare engine. I've cleaned them so they're all shiny and decoked.

Leave it with me and i'll get back to you with a price off my dad.

The track always looks like a walk in the park when seen from inside a super sports car, but watching this shows just how difficult it really is andthe BX is no slouch, especially with all the sliding about and moving obstacles. Better find myself a cheap PS3 and a copy of Gran Turismo and get learn...

I would also agree with most of the comments on here, if the engine is getting too hot, it points to other problems like a gunked up radiator or a leak somewhere. The engine is meant to run pretty hot, and the standard thermostat is designed to keep the engine around its happy operating temperature....

In all fairness the only three 16v's ive been in have been fairly well used, so maybe a fresh one manages to reach the limiter in 5th. I wouldnt like to spend too long past 7200 though, our 206 at uni with a gti6 engine broke its standard rods when they were put back in to replace the fancy rods tha...

If you go the supercharger route and would rather use a programmable ecu, i cant recommend a megasquirt enough. Damn cheap and has a built in data logging feature so it makes it so much easier for other people to help you out because they dont actually have to be with you and the car to analyse your...

Doc, what do you mean by 'broken speed limiter' ? The bx will never do 150 on the standard engine, solid tappets alone wont allow it to rev any higher as the rods will also limit that and the engine isnt making enough power higher than the factory rev limit to make it to 150. My car would max out at...
