Oh, OK got you, there is no adjustment of any kind ,it's just to mount the bracket on. But as I said earlier ,if you have a pipe popping out then is some problem somewhere. Check the front strut return hose for excessive oil flow, if heavy flow get the strut changed, if they are OK then I suggest to...

Nope, knowing a BX somewhere a pipe will give way spilling LHM everywhere and lubricating everything.
We here have sunny days thyroughout the year, we are practically
at the equator ,no snow ,so no salt on the roads to make yr car rust.
Tropical climate but very humid., you sweat a lot here.

Looking at that pic of the steering rack, there is so much
muck and grease there, don't you guys ever wash the engine bay.
Mine is spotless ,which I wash regularly myself top, bottom
and every nook and cranny I can find.

Just finished a conversion of a 306XR 1.6, plonked in a GTi-6
engine and g/box with elctrics, susp, brakes, axle etc into the XR.

Just started it last nite, today get the A/C gas filled, exhaust done
and will go for test later in the day.

I have 2 chaps over here who fitted the 6 speeder onto their ZX. One a 4dr was also fitted with an XM Turbo and that has impressive power. But the other a 2dr was fitted with a 167bhp and that I didn't really like, I guess I was comparing it to the turbo but the downside is right turns are hampered ...

Does anyone know what the part no is for the 16V non cat 1989 model as the one now on the car ends with 202 which I think is for a cat model..... hv seen it on 1.9 8V with cat models. They do look like Compomotives though but could also be some Taiwan copies....... BTW do 17in really fit in without fouling the bodywork and what size tyres are u using. Bought the very last 2 frt strut mounts from a parts dealer in Singapore and he said that there will be no more production of the mounts made by Citroen, Now if this is true then we can some day in the near future say bye bye to our beloved BX's and use them as a coffee table of sorts or chicken coo...

Thats a pretty hard knock until you can break the axle. IT must be a punctured tyre for the car to sway like that. If in a Cit never can this happen.
