cool! i think i know what yo mean matey! hmmmn, so i suppose that the ideal would then be to seek out a pair of rear belts and holders/catch's out of a xsara / 306 etc as they should be longer?? (the wife's fiat ones are fine!!) But they're probably not mounted in exactly the same position as a BX ...

Well the chip arrived today 8) , its all fitted and tested and the car runs fine with it in. Not really tried it out that much yet but it defo has a raised rev limit, i chickened out at 7.5k and 60 mph in second. I will take the car out for a blat later and have a play about with it under the cover...

If they're anything like the AX's etc, it won't work because the belt mechanism only works when its mounted at exactly the right angle, IE when you bolt it to the car. Otherwise they lock.

You couldn't mount it where the A/C would normally go on the alloy sump? And where would i put the aircon pump then? F**K the A/C pump off!!! Its a BX, its supposed to be old and hot and stuffy. Its more to go wrong. Plus, Tom Sheppard is an A/C in a BX fan, aswell as TD's. He dislikes 16v's. Think...
